Liuxia was borned in 1976 in Tianjin, is a member of the Communist Party of China and an asssociate Professor of the college of Food Engineering and Biotechnology, Tianjin University of Science and Technology. Prof. Liu completed Bachelor degree from Tianjin Agriculture College at 1999, then worked 3 years at Tianjin Jinnan District Agricultural Economics and Management Committee for the technology development of high-quality rice breeding, cultivation and processing. In 2005, Dr. Liu completed Master Degree from Shenyang Agricultural University. And she received her doctoral degree from Nankai University at 2008. Then, Dr. Liu worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Tianjin University of Science and Technology for 2 years. Since 2012, Dr. Liu is employed by Tianjin University of Science & Technology as an associate professor. She published 86 scientific papers, including 25 SCI/EI.
Mainly engaged in preservation of fresh produce and processing of agricultural products, post-harvest aging physiological and molecular regulatory mechanism, plastic wrap and the research and development of biological preservative. At the same time, a number of research achievements have been made in the processing of distinctive agricultural products, especially in the initial processing of new recombinant functional foods, fresh fruits and vegetables and other agricultural products.
